The California Alliance for Retired Americans (CARA) held our 2026 Senior Vote Program Orientation at last week's Friday Forum, bringing together seniors and retirees from across the state to learn how they can get involved in shaping the future of California. Participants received an overview of the campaign's goal to reach 1.5 million voters and heard about opportunities to take action through phone banking, canvassing, voter outreach, and community engagement. The session highlighted the power of seniors as the state's largest voting bloc and the important role they can play in protecting Social Security and Medicare, lowering costs, and expanding access to affordable healthcare and housing.
