CARA’s 2026 Lobby Day brought the power of collective advocacy straight to the halls of government—virtually. Throughout the day, hundreds of conversations took place over Zoom between our members and state legislators, lifting up the real-life needs of retirees and the communities we call home.

From protecting and expanding access to affordable healthcare to advancing policies that support economic security and dignity in aging, our voices were clear, coordinated, and impossible to ignore.

This day was a powerful reminder that when we come together with purpose, experience, and passion, we can shape a future that works for all generations.
